What is Site Logo?

Logo is a visual cornerstone of a company’s brand. Your company’s identity is visually expressed through its logo, which is one of the main things that makes your business memorable. Think of eBay, Google, and Yahoo. Each one of these companies has a distinctive logo that a large percentage of people would be able to describe without seeing. Even if you own a personal and non-profitable website, site logo plays an important role to create a great first impression on your visitors.

How Can I Change my Website Logo?

Publisher gives you various options for selecting website logo. Keep reading to know what are these options and where you can find them. Go to Publisher → Theme Options → Header → Logo.

1- Text Logo: Enter your site name here for logo text.

Enter site tagline here to add this to logo alt attribute.

2- Site logo: By default, a text-based logo is created using your site title. But you can also upload an image-based logo here.

NOTE: You can find “Site Title” and “Tagline” in Settings → General.

3- Site Retina Logo (2x): If you want to upload a Retina Image, it’s Image Size should be exactly double in comparison with your normal Logo.

What is Favicon?

A favicon (pronounced “fave-icon”) is a small, iconic image that represents your website. Favicons are most often found in the address bar of your web browser, but they can also be used in lists of bookmarks in web browsers and feed aggregators. If you don’t know what is favicon exactly, look at examples in below image.

How Can I Change my Website Favicon?

Publisher has an unique panel for selecting different favicons for different devices, so your website looks cool on all devices. In theme panel go to Publisher → Theme Options → Advanced → Favicons.

1- Favicon (16×16): Default Favicon. 16px x 16px. This is the one used in most of the situations and devices.

2- Apple iPhone Icon (57×57): Icon for Classic iPhone.

3- Apple iPhone Retina Icon (114×114): Icon for Retina iPhone.

4- Apple iPad Icon (72×72): Icon for Classic iPad.

5- Apple iPad Retina Icon (144×144): Icon for Retina iPad.
